Founder

Santhosh Bogam, the founder of our esteemed NGO, has an inspiring journey that exemplifies resilience, determination, and compassion. Born into a challenging environment, Santhosh's childhood was marked by hardships and struggles. Growing up as a child laborer, he experienced first-hand the injustices faced by underprivileged children in society. However, his indomitable spirit and unwavering belief in the transformative power of education sparked a flame within him to bring about change.

Santhosh's life took a pivotal turn when he received an opportunity to pursue higher education at the prestigious Roda Mistry College of Social Work in Hyderabad. It was within the walls of this institution that he discovered his true calling – to work tirelessly for the betterment of underprivileged children and provide them with the opportunities he had longed for during his own formative years.

Armed with knowledge and deep-rooted empathy, Santhosh embarked on his mission to empower underprivileged children in 2018. With the founding of our NGO, he set out to create a platform that would address the educational, social, and economic disparities that hinder the growth and development of marginalized children.

Santhosh's relentless pursuit of justice and his determination to raise awareness about child labor became evident in 2019 when he and his team orchestrated a groundbreaking motorcycle campaign against child labor in India. This pioneering initiative was the first of its kind in the country, attracting widespread attention and igniting a national conversation about the urgent need to end child labor.

The MotorCycle campaign was a powerful symbol of resistance and hope, as Santhosh and his team embarked on a journey across citi es and villages, raising awareness about the grave consequences of child labor. Through engaging discussions, public forums, and impactful storytelling, they educated communities about the importance of providing children with access to education, protection, and a nurturing environment.

The campaign successfully captured the nation's attention, galvanizing support from individuals, communities, and influential figures. It served as a wake-up call, inspiring many to join the cause and contribute to the movement to eliminate child labor in India.
Since the Motorcycle campaign, People Helping Children has continued to spearhead numerous initiatives that address the root causes of child labor and create a conducive environment for underprivileged children to thrive. Through innovative programs, PHC has worked tirelessly to provide quality education, healthcare, and holistic support to vulnerable children, empowering them to break free from the chains of exploitation.

Under Santhosh's dynamic leadership, PHC has not only impacted the lives of countless children but has also been instrumental in influencing policies and advocacy efforts at local and national levels. By collaborating with like-minded organizations, engaging with government agencies, and harnessing the power of grassroots activism, Santhosh and his team have been effective agents of change, fostering a society that cherishes the rights and well-being of every child.

Santhosh Bogam's journey from a heartbreaking childhood to becoming a trailblazer in the fight against child labor is a testament to the transformative power of one individual's determination and compassion. Through People Helping Children, Santhosh continues to champion the cause of underprivileged children, leaving an indelible impact on their lives and shaping a more equitable future for generations to come.

Today, Santhosh Bogam's story serves as an inspiration and a reminder that one person's determination can create a ripple effect of hope and empowerment. Through his own journey from a childhood of adversity to becoming the founder of PHC, Santhosh has exemplified the potential for positive change, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.

Join us in this inspiring journey, as we stand shoulder to shoulder with Santhosh and the team at People Helping Children, committed to creating a world where every child has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and dream without the shackles of child labour. Together, we can build a society where no child's potential is wasted, and every child is given the chance to create a brighter tomorrow.
